Nir Popliker is a guitar player, composer, arranger and educator. Nir’s unique style draws inspiration from jazz, rock and world music.

Popliker plays regularly with Korin Allal, Eric Berman, Tal Sondak, Lee Gaon and A. Azizi.

Co-founder and musical producer as well as composer and writer for the bands Electric Desert and Bamidbar.

As a music educator Popliker teaches in the Arison campus of the performing arts in Tel Aviv and is the head of guitar, bass and drums department in west Hezliyia conservatory.

Nir Popliker
is a guitar player, singer, composer, arranger, and an educator.

His musical styles goes from jazz, rock through Folklore music. his techniques often combines imitations of ethno instruments like oud and sitar on a driven guitar sound.

Popliker was always drawn to combining different styles and throughout his music career you can find rock, world music, jazz and African rhythms influences.

Education – Nir Popliker is an educator of music, teaching in Arison campus of the performing arts in tel aviv. He is also the head of the guitar department in west Herzliyia conservatory. Teaching jazz and improvisation believing that music is another language and that everyone can improvise just like everyone can talk.

Popliker arranges knowing how to adjust the level of arrangements so that his students will be able to maximize their abilities.

On 2009 and 2013 Nir was sent as a musical dirctor with students from Arrison campus of the performing arts to represent Israel in Vienna, Austria.
