The gigantic fresco of history and these tiny moments of life combine to form a tracery of memory. It is on this incongruity that the performer’s art rests. Composers’ revolutions have

been as much personal as political. In this recording, David Kadouch demonstrates that music is a human paradox that demonstrates this phenomenon in both the infinitely small and the infinitely large.

David Kadouch
ist ein aufgehender Stern in Frankreich, er studierte unter anderem bei Dmitry Bashkirov in Madrid und wurde 2010 im Alter von 25 Jahren bei den "Victoires de la musique classique" zur „Entdeckung des Jahres“ gekürt. Als Preisträger internationaler Wettbewerbe, darunter des Beethoven Wettbewerbs in Bonn unternahm David Kadouch 2000 erste bemerkenswerte Gehversuche in New York unter der Leitung von Itzhak Perlman. Mit Daniel Barenboïm als Mentor präsentiert er sich seit 2005 in Chicago oder anderen Städten dieser Welt. Als Nominierter für den Titel "Künstler des Jahres 2011" bei den Classical Music Awards kommt David Kadouch erstmals zum Festival nach Colmar. Unter der Leitung von Ken-David Masur präsentiert er das berühmte Klavierkonzert Nr. 3 von Beethoven.
