Das "Symphonic Zoot ist ein unabhängiges und selbstproduziertes Projekt, das ein Orchester aus 70 jungen Musikern zusammenbringt, um drei originale symphonische Stücke für Jazz-Oktett und Orchester zu kreieren, die von Neil Saidi, Noé Codjia und David Paycha komponiert wurden und die Wege zwischen Jazz und klassischer Musik kreuzen.

Diese drei Stücke mit einer Gesamtdauer von etwa einer Stunde wurden im Februar 2021 im Auditorium des Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris unter der Leitung des jungen Dirigenten Léo Margue und dank der freiwilligen Mitarbeit eines Teams von großartigen Musikern aufgenommen, die ihr Herz und ihr Talent einsetzten, um die Musik zum Leben zu erwecken. Diese Aufnahme erforderte viel Vorbereitung und eine komplexe Logistik, insbesondere aufgrund der Gesundheitssituation. Wir sind sehr froh, dass wir diese symphonische Session durchführen konnten, die für die vielen beteiligten Musiker ein sehr schöner Moment des Austauschs und der Musik war.

The Zoot Symphonic Orchestra
is a young independent orchestra, born under the impulse of the Zoot Collective and thanks to the commitment of a formidable team of 70 young musicians among the most talented of their generation, who have made it possible to give life to three original symphonic pieces, at the crossroads between jazz and "classical" music. These three pieces, lasting about an hour, were composed by Neil Saidi, Noé Codjia and David Paycha, all three founding members of the Zoot Collective, and recorded in February 2021 under the baton of the young and promising conductor Leo Margue.

The uniqueness of this orchestra lies in this delicious association between classical and jazz musicians, who combine their sensibilities for a most delightful result!

The Zoot Collective
was created in September 2016, on the initiative of several young jazz musicians who wanted to promote a common vision of their practice and propose original creations.

Since its creation, the collective has carried out various projects, including Zoot Suite Vol.1 and Vol.2, which brought together the Zoot Octet and a string quartet, as well as the show "Pannonica" created at La Seine Musicale in 2019, based on the story of the jazz baroness "Pannonica de Koenigswarter", embodied on stage by the great Natalie Dessay, surrounded by the musicians of the Zoot Collective.

In recent years, the Zoot Collectif has also initiated numerous concerts and jam sessions that have contributed to the buzz of the Paris jazz scene. In November 2021, it organised the first edition of its festival, the "ZootFest", which brought together hundreds of people for 9 concerts in 7 different venues
