Info for Ferveur, Louange et Passion (Works by J.C.Bach, Kühnel, Schein, Krynen Bernhardt, Rosenmüller & Buxtehude)
This recording found its origin in the composition by J-C Bach, 'Mein Freund ist mein und ich bin sein'. When I discovered it, I was entranced by its beauty. Beauty of the voice's melodic line, beauty of the text from the Song of Songs, beauty of the violin's part, of the three viols' accompaniment which support or comment the melody. But also I felt behind this admirable composition a dimension of fervour related to passionate love. It is this dimension, this breath, which I wish to convey through this recording.'
