With his first Rachmaninoff recording he once more demonstrates his inspired ability to empathize completely with the composer in question. The Janácek Philharmonic Ostrava under Dmitry Liss proves an excellent accompanist. The CD is completed by the Corelli Variations, recorded in February 2018, and the Piano Sonata No. 2, recorded much earlier (2005).
