Europe's best-known percussion ensemble pulls on new strings and creates a symbiosis of drum show and symphony orchestra: over 70 musicians will thrill the audience in a brilliant live performance with works composed especially for this experience and also well-known.

The power, energy and passion of the greenbeats merge with the unmistakable orchestral sound to create a sound experience that guarantees goosebumps.

The musicians of the greenbeats have been performing together on stage for over 15 years and can look back on more than 500 successful concerts. Notable highlights of their career include touring with DJ Bobo in Germany's biggest arenas, their participation in the RTL Supertalent and TV appearances on Carmen Nebel and ZDF Fernsehgarten.

greenbeats wouldn't be greenbeats if they didn't constantly develop and realise innovative ideas like the world-famous drum octagons or their sparking drums. With "orchestral explosion", they are once again treading a path that no one has trodden before.

The programme ranges from emotional film music in typical Hollywood garb to atmospheric Disney sounds and popular classics such as Ravel's Bolero and Bizet's Carmen. The highlight of the evening will be the world premiere of the 12-minute greenbeats suite. Germany's most popular film composers have written this exclusive work especially for this evening.

A strong partner alongside the greenbeats is a special association of the Ibbenbüren Symphony Orchestra (Musikverein "Glückauf") and the Junge Philharmonie Osnabrück. The conductor Christopher Wasmuth, who is well-known far beyond Osnabrück, will take over the musical direction.

was founded in 2007 by Timm Pieper, a well-known professional composer and arranger for percussion and marching bands in Europe, as well as highly demanded music instructor.

It all startet as a music school ensemble for young, talented musicians and has now, over a period of more than thirteen years, developed into an extraordinary group of experienced and passionate artists, united in a remarkable live drumshow.

Their „an evening with“ concerts are usually sold-out within hours.

Notable appearances in the past have been for example the European tour with Swiss superstar ‘DJ Bobo’ (2017) with a total audience of 260.000 people, a collaboration with the ‘Symphonieorchester Osnabrück’ (2014) playing additional percussion arrangements to classical masterpieces, appearances in famous German TV shows ‘ZDF Fernsehgarten’ (2018, 20% viewing rate) and ‘Carmen Nebel’ (2018, 12% vq) or at the 40th anniversary of the Federal Environment Office (2014).

500+ concerts have formed an impressive and remarkable ensemble.
