Dave Bristow
is a pianist and composer from Birmingham. Currently based in Paris, he is fast emerging as one of the most original and talented jazz musicians of his generation. His main project is the Dave Bristow Quintet – a multinational supergroup – for which he writes all the compositions.

He studied Classical Music for three years at the University of Manchester before taking a Master’s Degree in Jazz Piano Performance at Leeds College of Music studying with Les Chisnall, Jamil Sheriff, Gwilym Simcock, Kit Downes.

His debut album ‘Unknown Unknown’, featuring a bevy of top class musicians, is a tour de force – an album of substance, simplicity and sophistication – but most importantly, an album with a huge heart!
