Alexander Anisimov
studierte bei Ekaterina Yofel, wurde direkt im Anschluss an das Moskauer Bolschoi-Theater engagiert und sang dort Hauptpartien in Glinkas Ivan Susanin und Tschaikowskys Iolantha. Es folgten Auftritte an zahlreichen großen Opernhäusern der Welt. So sang er unter anderem Großinquisitor (Don Carlo), Komtur (Don Giovanni) und den Alten Gefangenen (Lady Macbeth von Mzensk) an der Mailänder Scala, Gremin (Eugen Onegin) am Pariser Châtelet und Pimen (Boris Godunow) an der Oper Frankfurt. Weitere Auftritte an den Opernhäusern u.a. von New York, Berlin, Dresden, London, Seattle, Genf und Chicago. Partie an der Bayerischen Staatsoper: Commendatore (Don Giovanni).
