Klanglich verfolgt das JAF Trio einen Ansatz, der die Band im Stil des "Loft Jazz" sehr nah an den Zuhörer bringt. Das Saxophon, der Bass und das Schlagzeug stehen gemeinsam an vorderster Front und schaffen eine bemerkenswert starke Präsenz. Das Originalmaterial der Band hat Tiefe und Groove gleichermaßen, mal geht es mit Riesenschritten vorwärts, mal wird es ruhiger, um die Zeit wirklich zu dehnen. Die Musik ist sehr melodisch und rhythmisch.

JAF Trio
emerges on Helsinki's We Jazz Records with their debut album on 3 July 2020. The young Finnish-Danish band includes saxophonist Adele Sauros (of Superposition), bassist Joonas Tuuri (of Bowman Trio) and drummer Frederik Emil Bülow. After a string of lauded live performances over the past couple of years (the band was awarded with the "We Jazz Rising Star" accolade at We Jazz Festival in 2017), the trio is now ready to present their first studio work.
