Xiaowen Shang
tarted to play piano since she was four years old. She then studied piano at the primary and middle schools of the Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM) in Beijing with Aiping Jin and Danwen Wei before coming to study piano as an undergraduate at the Royal Academy of Music.

She has been studying with Aiping Jin and Danwen Wei for the past fourteen years from primary school to high school and studies currently with Joanna MacGregor at undergraduate level at the Royal Academy of Music.

Xiaowen has been awarded scholarships in the primary and middle schools of CCOM in Beijing and has been awarded a full entrance scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music in 2018. Xiaowen has performed in Beijing, New York, Los Angeles, London, St. Petersburg and Bucharest among other cities.
