Dangerous Levels of Introspection is the new 13-track album from JP Saxe, featuring the smash hit “If the World Was Ending” and previously released track “Line by Line” ft. Maren Morris. JP worked with a number of exciting people on this album including one of his musical heroes John Mayer.
JP has been nominated for 5 JUNO awards (tied with Justin Bieber and Jessie Reyez for second most nominated artists this year!) including Breakthrough Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Single of the Year, Pop Album of the Year and Fan Choice Award. He is also nominated for Best New Pop Artist and Best Lyrics at the iHeart Awards on May 21st.

erhielt seine erste Grammy-Nominierung für die Platin-Single „If The World Was Ending“ ft. Julia Michaels, bei den 63. jährlichen Grammy Awards. Die Kollaboration „If The World Was Ending“, welche vom sechsfachen Grammy-Preisträger FINNEAS produziert wurde, war einer der einflussreichsten Songs während der Pandemie und erreichte über 1 Milliarde Streams auf allen Plattformen und über 130 Millionen Klicks auf YouTube. Der Song wurde in den USA mit Platin und in Saxes Heimatland Kanada mit 4-fach Platin ausgezeichnet. Saxe und Michaels durften den Titel unter anderem in der ‚Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon‘, ‚The Late Late Show with James Corden‘ und den ‚MTV VMAS 2020‘ performen. Im Oktober 2020 veröffentlichte der Ausnahmekünstler „A Little Bit Yours“. Den Song durfte er später auch wieder live bei ‚Live with Kelly & Ryan‘ und ‚JIMMY KIMMMEL LIVE‘ vorstellten! Idolator lobte Saxe als „one of 2020’s breakout stars“. Im Februar 2020 veröffentlichte JP seine Debüt-EP ‚Hold It Together‘. Die EP wurde unter anderem von dem TIME Magazine, mit den schönen Worten „exploring the weird – sometimes lovely – sometimes painful – emotions that bubble up in relationships”, kommentiert. Anschließend wurde der Titel „3 Minutes“ in ihre ‚5 Best songs of the Week‘ Liste aufgenommen. Saxe startete in das Jahr 2021 mit der Veröffentlichung von „Line By Line“ gemeinsam mit der Grammy-Preisträgerin Maren Morris. Das Duo gab ihr Debut in der ‚Late Late Show With James Corden‘ Anfang März.
