For Jonas Krag, the man behind Santino Surfers, the guitar has become like a prosthetic limb, and one that’s always advancing in understanding and sophistication.

An accomplished session guitarist, he’s got a stack of credits to his name, ranging from acts such as Womack & Womack to Danish staple names such as Lis Sørensen and Sanne Salomonsen. Krag has also composed music for film and tv.

With every tone struck in this long career of his, every new style or emotional nuance discovered, mind sketches of a personal sound increased in resolution. Santino Surfers is the vehicle.

is the new project by multi-instrumentalist & songwriter Jonas Krag.

The ‘surf’ sound is prevalent throughout the work (hence the name), setting the dial at laid back, grooving and liberated moods that probe the frontiers of the psychedelic.
