Info zu James Strauss Promenadia Ecuatoriana

The Municipal Philharmonic Orchestra of Guayaquil will release its first musical production called "Promenadia Ecuatoriana".

The production immortalizes two of the most emblematic works of the famous Ecuadorian composer Gerardo Guevara: his Concerto for Violin and Orchestra and his Concerto for Flute and Orchestra.

This album is not only an important record of Ecuadorian academic music, but also marks a milestone for the orchestra, which will distribute this production internationally.

The Concerto for Violin and Orchestra was performed by Ecuadorian violinist Jorge Saade, while the Concerto for Flute and Orchestra featured Brazilian flautist James Strauss.

The Guayaquil Municipal Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of maestros Manuel Campos and Enrique Pérez Mesa, managed to capture the depth and richness of these compositions, which combine Ecuadorian folkloric roots with contemporary classical technique.
