This album pays homage to the Franco-Belgian school of violin. In the tradition of the famous sonata by Franck, Vincent d’Indy’s sonata is associated on this album with the sonata of his disciple, the Belgian Albert Dupuis: a revelation, and a world premiere recording. The album also includes an Andante by the young d’Indy and a superb piece by Ermend-Bonnal.
