With this new quintet, the Barcelona trumpeter Felix Rossy will offer an intimate and at the same time energetic concert that will transport the audience to a sound universe full of nuances.
The trombonist Tomeu Garcias is the novelty compared to the previous quintet; this means that the possibilities are transformed and that the repertoire is designed expressly for this new group completed by the explosive American saxophonist Ben Solomon, the pianist Toni Saigi, the also American double bass player Ben Tiberio and the drummer Andreu Pitarch. On this occasion Félix Rossy's quintet will present their new album, published this summer by the record label Underpool, under the name "Elena Mágica". They will play original songs, legendary standards with arrangements, and there will also be moments of free improvisation.
