Info for That! Feels Good!

Since her debut album "Devotion" (2012, #5 UK Charts) Jessie Ware has been one of the biggest British singers and critics' favourites. Today, Friday, sees the release of her new album "That! Feels Good!".

Over the past decade, Jessie has been working through themes around her identity as an artist and realisations as a performer. The soundtrack to this evolution can be heard in her new album: "That! Feels Good!" promises a pure disco delight with 70s funk, infectious groove sounds and invigorating synthesizers.

In addition to the first single "Free Yourself", which was already released last summer, the current single "Pearls", produced by Coffee Clarence JR, Sarah Hudson and Stuart Price, is also featured. "Pearls" impresses with funky basslines and is a homage to the great disco divas: "Pearls is a record that doesn't take itself too seriously but demands you to have a dance. It's inspired by divas like Donna Summer, Evelyn Champagne King, Teena Marie and Chaka Khan and I guess attempts to show - in lightness - all the hats I try to wear (usually at the same time)." - says Jessie Ware.

Since her debut album "Devotion" (2012, #5 UK Charts), Jessie Ware has been one of the UK's biggest singers and critics' favourites. Her second album "Tough Love" followed in 2014 and her third album "Glasshouse" in 2017, both of which reached the top 10 of the UK charts.

The fourth album "What's Your Pleasure", released in 2020, cemented Jessie Ware's status as one of the UK's most influential artists. The album instantly hit #3 on the UK album chart, combining influences from pop, funk as well as club culture from the 70s, 80s and 90s. It received endless praise ("Ware's finest record yet" - Guardian, "The best pop album of 2020" - Vogue, "A Triumph" - Rolling Stone) and Jessie Ware was subsequently nominated for 2 Brit Awards, in the categories "Best Female Solo Artist" and "Album Of The Year".
