"A Thousand True Stories" is Silje Nergaard's twelfth album and her first for Sony Music. The Norwegian singer with the girlish voice recorded her new album entirely with the famous Metropole Orchestra conducted by Vince Mendoza. It is her most romantic album to date with nine beautiful songs written by Silje Nergaard herself. It has already entered the Norwegian pop charts at number 1 and has since reached gold status. The arrangements are by Mendoza, who also arranged Robbie Williams' swing album and has won several Grammys for his collaborations with Björk, Herbie Hancock and for his own albums.
